Finding Peace In A Chaotic World

Hello, my beauties and beaus and welcome back to the blog! I'm so happy you're here. Today I wanted to speak briefly about finding peace amid this dark world.

The world seems to get darker and darker by the second. Just when you think things couldn't possibly get any worse bam there goes another news channel reporting an awful event. Then to add to that we have our own problems, trials, and tribulations we're going through. Times are tough and the days can be hard.

So where do we run? To whom do we go? Who do we look to?

You see friends this world can only offer so much peace, there's only one that can offer perfect peace and that is Jesus Himself.

Don't run to the world to give you something that it can never give. Run to Christ. Cling to Him. It's truly easier said than done. I doubt, I worry, and sometimes I'm scared to death that all I can pray is "Lord I believe, please help me in my unbelieve" #truestory

And while clinging to Christ doesn't automatically eliminate your problems you can rest assured in the fact that "hey, my Father is with me." We may not always feel like He is but I know that He's there.

So dig into scripture and meditate on it. Seek the Lord in prayer. Know that you don't have to go through life alone. While we don't want to run to everyone else and have Jesus be our last resort having a community of like-minded Christians to pray with you and for you is a wonderful thing to have whether that's online or in person.

When the days get hard and the trails come just remember we're one day closer to Christ's return.

I have no idea if this will help anyone but I pray that someone out there reading this will be encouraged. You guys know you can always reach out to me. Thank you for sticking it out with me today my loves.

Sincerely,

Ruth.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
