Tis The Season

This is the time of year when people decorate the most. Lots of money is spent on all things Fall and/or Christmas decor with some people overspending and even going into debt.
Don't get me wrong, nothing is bad about wanting to make your house look festive or nice but I sometimes think there's a certain pressure around this time of year.
The pressure to "go big or go home" or outdo each other and I just want to remind you that you don't have to buy everything (or anything for that matter) that you see other people posting nor do you have to feel guilty about your inability to purchase these things.
Get inspired and admire other people's home decor but don't let comparison steal your joy or envy plague your heart.
You don't need a Christmas tree (real or fake), wreaths, bows, stockings, a special decorative pot, or anything else to enjoy the holiday season. Do the best that you can with what you have. This year my loved ones wanted to decorate for Christmas and the best that we can do is a tiny fake Christmas tree and a couple of Dollar Tree DIYs. More than the decors we put up are the memories we make and as we get closer to the holidays, let us not forget the most important thing which is Jesus Christ Himself.
Thank you for sticking it out with me today friends. Until next time <3
